Canaan's 31 points were more than he had recorded in his previous three games combined, and he also contributed seven rebounds and six assists,. He should receive the bulk of the minutes going forward as the starting point guard for Philly.

Anthony Davis (New Orleans PF/C)- Came back from injury to dominate with 39 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks in an 88-85 win over the Detroit Pistons. Davis showed no rust after missing five games, hitting 17 of 30 field goal attempts, while only turning the ball over once. He is now primed to get back in the MVP race, and propelling the Pelicans back into the playoffs will surely help his case.
