Daily Recap- Nov. 12.

Who Was Hot

Rajon Rondo (Boston PG)- Posted a strong stat line (20 pts, 12 ast, 9 reb) in a 109-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Rondo had a strong shooting night, hitting 8 of 15 shots, including four three-pointers.

Reggie Jackson/Anthony Morrow (Oklahoma City PG/SG)- Scored 28 points apiece and combined to hit six three-pointers in a 109-94 win over the Boston Celtics. The Oklahoma City backcourt dominated Boston, shooting 61% combined from the field. Jackson chipped in eight assists, while Morrow pulled down five rebounds in the win.

Paul Millsap (Atlanta PF)- Led the way with 32 points (13-23 FG) and 17 rebounds in a 100-97 win over the Utah Jazz. Millsap has hit seven three-pointers in the last two games combined, showing the versatility in his game.

Portland Trail Blazers- Scored 84 points in the first half of a 130-113 win over the Denver Nuggets. Portland hit 16 three-pointers and shot 51% from the field in a game they controlled start to finish. Six Trail Blazers scored in double figures, led by Damian Lillard, who tallied 29 points (10-16 FG) and nine assists.

Who Was Not

Al Horford (Atlanta PF/C)- Scored only eight points (4-10 FG) and grabbed four rebounds in Atlanta's win over the Jazz Wednesday night. It was a rather quiet night for Horford, who was overshadowed by his teammate Paul Millsap's monster performance.

A.J. Price (Indiana PG)- One game after scoring 23 points, Price registered only seven on 3-12 shooting from the field.

Thaddeus Young (Minnesota PF)- Scored six points on 2-10 shooting from the field in a 113-101 loss to he Houston Rockets. Wednesday night marked only the second time all season that Young failed to score at least 12 points.

Daily Recap- Nov. 4.

Who Was Hot

Anthony Davis (Pelicans PF/C)- Scored 24 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked three shots in a 100-91 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Portland Trail Blazers- Portland dominated LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to the tune of 101-82 Tuesday night. The Trail Blazers held James (11 pts, 4-12 FG), Dion Waiters (6 pts, 3-11 FG) and Kyrie Irving (9 pts, 3-17 FG) in check, as the four-time MVP was held scoreless in the second half. Damian Lillard led the way with 27 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Rip City shot 49% as a team on the offensive end of the floor . It was a great showing by Portland, as they should be top contenders in the Western Conference.

James Harden (Rockets SG)- Flirted with a triple-double, posting a stat line of 25 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in a 108-91 win over the Miami Heat.

Serge Ibaka (Thunder PF)- Posted his first double-double of the season, scoring 25 points (11-14 FG) and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 100-88 loss to the Toronto Raptors

Brandon Knight (Bucks PG)- Scored 23 points on 10-16 shooting to go along with seven rebounds in an 87-81 Milwaukee Bucks win over the Indiana Pacers.


Who Was Not

C.J. Miles (Pacers SG/SF)- Was held scoreless (0-8 FG) in 29 minutes of action during an 87-81 loss to the Bucks.

Jared Dudley (Bucks SG/SF)- Scored only two points on 1-7 shooting Tuesday night.

Eric Gordon (Pelicans SG)- Failed to make a shot from the field (0-6 FG) for the second time in three games. Gordon has been very erratic this year, and will need to pick up his play for the Pelicans to win more games.
