Top Performances

Rajon Rondo (Dallas PG)- Scored 29 points in a 119-101 win over the Boston Celtics. Rondo was playing his first game in Boston since being traded, and shined, hitting 12 of 19 field goals, as well as grabbing six rebounds. He also received a heart-warming video tribute from the Celtics, as he was the last remaining player from their 2008 championship roster before he was traded.

Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City SF)- Dropped 34 points and eight rebounds in a 109-102 win over the Washington Wizards. Durant was on his game versus one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, as he hit four 3-pointers, and more importantly, several key shots down the stretch to down the team that plays in his hometown. Barring any other freak injuries, KD should be set to have another season like his MVP one last year.

Jeff Teague (Atlanta PG)- Tallied 26 points and eight assists in a 98-92 win against the Utah Jazz. Teague was efficient on both sides of the ball Friday, as he hit 9 of 17 shot attempts and did not commit and single turnover. He has scored over 20 points in three consecutive games for the Hawks.

Draymond Green (Golden State SF/PF)- Recorded a triple-double of 16 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds in a 126-105 win over the Toronto Raptors. Green, who has been playing exquisitely in all areas this season, had yet another strong performance, as he hit 6 of his 12 shot attempts while recording two steals and two blocks. The young forward continues to shine, and putting up his first triple-double of his career is just another step in the right direction.

Stephen Curry (Golden State PG)- Posted a double-double of 32 points and 12 assists in the Warriors' win over the Raptors on Friday. Curry made 10 of his 18 field goal attempts, including five 3-pointers, and did not turn the ball over once. His play continues to be top-notch, and the Warriors are looking like a legitimate title-contending team.

Elfrid Payton (Orlando PG)- Flirted with a triple-double Friday, scoring 16 points, dishing out 10 assists and grabbing nine rebounds in a 100-98 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. It was Payton's most complete game of his career, as he went toe-to-toe with Deron Williams and Jarrett Jack for most of the game, and showcased his talents on both ends of the court.

Play of the Night

Rajon Rondo shined in his return to Boston, scoring 29 points in the Mavericks' win.

Top Performances

Jimmy Butler (Chicago SG)- Posted a stat line of 26 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in a 106-101 win over the Denver Nuggets. Butler seemed determined to pickup in 2015 where he left off in 2014, as he shot 7 of 14 from the field, and also chipped in three blocks and two steals. He, along with Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah, are proving to be one of the best teams in the league, and are looking like real title contenders heading into the second half of the season.

Pau Gasol (Chicago PF/C)- Finished with 17 points, nine rebounds and a career-high nine blocks in the Bulls' win over the Nuggets. Gasol was all over the Nuggets on defense, as his nine blocks were more than he had accumulated in his previous four games combined. His fantastic season continues in Chicago, and will likely be an all-star come February.

Andrew Wiggins (Minnesota SG/SF)- The rookie tallied 27 points, nine rebounds and four steals in a 110-107 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Wiggins had a solid all-around game for Minnesota, and has scored over 21 points in four of his last five games. His game is starting to become more consistent, which is great news for Timberwolves' fans, and bad news for the rest of the teams in the NBA.

Kenneth Faried (Denver PF)- Scored 18 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in a 106-101 loss to the Chicago Bulls. It was his third time in four games that Faried grabbed 19 or more rebounds, as he is one of the most talented rebounders in the NBA. As long as he is playing enough minutes each night, he is a double-double threat who give nothing less than 110% on the court.

Rose to Butler

Derrick Rose connected with Jimmy Butler on an alley-oop that brought the fans to their feet on Thursday night. The alley-oop put the game out of reach with a little under four minutes to play in the game, as the Bulls won 106-101.

McLemore Slams it Home

Ben McLemore finished a fast-break alley-oop against the Timberwolves on Thursday, showcasing his athleticism and finishing abilities. He finished the game with 14 points (6-9 FG) and four rebounds.

New Years Eve Recap

Top Performances 

Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City SF)- Scored a season-high 44 points (13-23 FG) in a 137-134 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns. Durant didn't miss a beat after not playing in six straight games because of a twisted ankle, as he also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out seven assists. He logged 40 minutes of playing time, and appears to be fully healthy once again.

James Harden (Houston SG)- Hit a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored 36 points in a 102-83 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Harden simply caught fire last night from deep, and also chipped in seven rebounds and six assists. He has now scored over 30 points in four of his last five games, all while dealing with a hamstring injury.

Manu Ginobili (San Antonio SG)- Tallied a team-high 25 points in a 95-93 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Ginobili also grabbed seven rebounds and hit five 3-pointers in the victory, and is having a solid season at age 37, scoring just over 13 points a game.

Anthony Davis (New Orleans PF/C)- Recorded a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to the Spurs. It was just another night in the office for the young MVP candidate, as he went up against Tim Duncan for most of the game. While they aren't winning a ton of games, the Pelicans have found their centerpiece for the next 10 years in Davis.
