Daily Recap- Nov. 6.

Who Was Hot

Dwight Howard (Houston C)-  Scored 32 points (12-18 FG) and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 98-81 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Howard's performance can only be taken lightly, as it came against a Spurs team that rested Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. Nonetheless, he has posted double-doubles in all but one of Houston's first six games this year (Rockets 6-0).

LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland PF/C)- Scored 20 points on 10-16 shooting from the field, and pulled down seven rebounds in a 108-87 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

C.J. McCollum (Portland PG/SG)- Scored 13 points (4-8 FG, 3 3PM) to go along with three assists and two rebounds in 22 minutes of action off of the bench Thursday night. It was the Lehigh grad's highest scoring output of the season, and a positive sign of things to come for the second-year guard.

Who Was Not

Tony Parker (Spurs PG)- Parker was relatively ineffective in a 98-81 loss to Houston, scoring only six points on 3-8 FG. He also had more turnovers (2), than assists (1).

Chandler Parsons (Dallas SF)- After three straight 20-point games, Parsons came down to Earth Thursday, scoring only 11 points on 5-13 shooting in a 108-87 loss to Dallas.

Trevor Ariza (Houston SF)- Ariza struggled with his shot, going 2-10 from the field in Houston's win over the Spurs. The bright spot for the small forward is that he was able to record three assists, three rebounds and two steals, which shows he can still fill up the stat line.
