Top Performances

Ty Lawson (Denver PG)- Tallied 25 points and 11 assists in a 114-85 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Lawson had a strong shooting night, hitting 10 of 14 shots from the field, including three 3-pointers in the win. He continues to dish out assists at a top-notch rate, and has scored 20 or more points in four of his last six games.

Trey Burke (Utah PG)- Recorded 28 points, six rebounds and six assists in a 101-89 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was a season-high in points for Burke, who also recorded five or more assists for the fourth straight game. He appears to be playing more consistent, and should be scoring more as Alec Burks is out for the season.

Pau Gasol (Chicago PF/C)- Scored 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 109-104 overtime over the Boston Celtics. With Jimmy Butler out, Gasol stepped up in the scoring department, hitting 9 of 16 shots, including 10 of 11 free throw attempts. He added five blocks, giving him 14 total in his last two games.

Chris Paul (Los Angeles PG)- Posted a line of 24 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds in a 127-91 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Paul was efficient in his 30 minutes of playing time Saturday night, hitting 7 of 11 shots, including all seven free throws and three 3-pointers. It was a nice bounce-back night for the Clippers' point guard, who had scored only five points on 2 of 11 shooting against the Knicks in his last game.

Play of the Night

Orlando Magic forward Tobias Harris posterized Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of the Charlotte Hornets Saturday night. Harris slipped towards the basket on an in-bounds play midway through the first quarter. He finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds in the 98-90 loss.

Daily Recap- Nov. 21.

Who Was Hot

Jeff Teague (Atlanta PG)- Scored a season-high 28 points on 9-15 shooting, in a 99-89 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Teague also chipped in six assists, two steals and two blocks in what was one of his best games of the year.

Nikola Mirotic (Chicago PF)- Tallied 24 points and 11 rebounds in Chicago's 105-87 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Mirotic played extra minutes when Taj Gibson, who was starting in place of an injured Pau Gasol, left the game with an ankle injury. He hit 7 of 14 shots from the field, including four 3-pointers in the game.

John Wall (Washington PG)- Broke out of his shooting slump, scoring 28 points on 12-20 shooting in a 91-78 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night. Wall filled up the stat sheet besides scoring,  recording seven assists, six rebounds and four steals in the statement win over LeBron James and company.

Zach Randolph (Memphis PF)- Posted a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds in a 117-100 win over the Boston Celtics. It was just another day at the office for Randolph who seems to put up double-doubles on pretty much a nightly basis for the Grizzlies.

Dallas Mavericks- The Mavs dominated the Lakers on Friday, winning by a score of 140-106. Dallas  had eight players in double figures, with Dirk Nowitzki scoring 23 points, while Monta Ellis scored 20 points and had 10 assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 62% from the field and 51% from three-point range.

Who Was Not

Trey Bruke (Utah Jazz PG)- Scored only two points on 1-8 shooting in a 101-88 loss to the Golden State Warriors. Burke has had trouble scoring the ball this year, averaging a little under 10 points a game on 32% shooting from the field.

Ryan Anderson (New Orleans PF)- Scored only 10 points on 2-11 shooting in a 117-97 loss to the Denver Nuggets Friday night. It marked the second time all season the Anderson failed to record a 3-pointer in a game.

Nick Young (Los Angeles SG/SF)- Shot 2-7 from the field, tallying only five points in a 140-106 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Young cooled off after scoring 16 or more points in his first two games of the season (missed first 10 games due to hand injury).

Who Was Hot

Brandon Jennings (Detroit PG)- Scored 29 points on 10-18 shooting (5 3PM) in a 96-89 OT win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron James (Cleveland SF)- Scored 41 points (16-27 FG), and had seven assists in a 122-121 win over the Boston Celtics.

Jeremy Lamb (Oklaoma City SG)- Posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds in OKC's loss to the Detroit Pistons Friday. It was the first time all season that Lamb scored over 20 points, and should be a sign of things to come moving forward.

Dwight Howard (Houston C)- Had a monster night, scoring 21 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and blocking seven shots in an 88-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It was one of Howard's best game of the season, and the seven blocked shots were more than his last three games combined.

Gordon Hayward (Utah SG/SF)- Scored a season-high 33 points on 11-18 shooting, and dished out six assists in Utah's 102-100 win over the New York Knicks.

Who Was Not

Gerald Green (Phoenix SF)- Played only eight minutes Friday, scoring zero points on 0-6 shooting from the floor in a 103-95 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. It was Green's worst game of the season, but not something Phoenix fans should be concerned about going forward.

Chris Copeland (Indiana SG/SF)- Scored only three points on 1-10 shooting, and committed four turnovers in a 108-87 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

O.J. Mayo (Milwaukee SG)- Shot 3-11 from the field, scoring six points in a 101-85 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Burke's Buzzer-Beater

Utah point guard Trey Burke hit a step-back jumper at the buzzer to give the Jazz a 102-100 win over the New York Knicks Friday. The University of Michigan product scored 13 points and hit 5-9 shots for the game, but none bigger than his last one.
