Daily Recap- Dec. 9

Who Was Hot

Chandler Parsons (Dallas SF)- Scored 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 114-105 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Parsons has scored over 25 points in back-to-back games, and has hit 10-16 shots from 3-point range in that span.

Tim Duncan (San Antonio PF/C)- Tallied another double-double, scoring 23 points and pulling down 14 rebounds in a 100-96 loss to the Utah Jazz. Duncan also blocked four shots and recorded three steals. He has found the fountain of youth, as his level of play fails to decrease much in the twilight of his career.

Chris Bosh (Miami C)- Put up 34 points and nine rebounds in a 103-97 win over the Phoenix Suns. It was Bosh's first game with over 30 points since Nov. 22, and it was a nice bounce back game from his 12 point/2 rebound performance against the Grizzlies. Bosh is averaging a reliable 21.3 points per game, to go along with 8.4 boards and a 47% field goal percentage on the year.

Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City SF)- Got back on track and posted a stat line of 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in a 114-101 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Durant hit 7 of 11 shots from the field (8-8 FT) in 29 minutes of action, and looks to be almost back at full strength. The Thunder have won 3 of 4 games since KD has returned, and are should get back in the playoff race within the next month.

Marcus Morris (Phoenix PF)- Broke out for a 25 point, five rebound performance in a loss to the Miami Heat. Morris shot 10 of 13 from the field, and hit five 3-pointers in 37 minutes of action (highest since Nov. 22 against Denver). It was the first time he scored over 20 points since the Suns' first game of the season against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Marc Gasol (Memphis C)- Scored 30 points (9-14 FG, 12-13 FT), grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists in a win over the Dallas Mavericks. Gasol is having a terrific season, as his scoring average of 19 ppg is almost five points ahead of his previous highest total (14.6 in 11-12/13-14).
