Rookie Recap- Nov. 24-30

Zach LaVine (Minnesota PG/SG)- Averaged 13.3 ppg on 55% shooting from the field in three games this week. LaVine had a career-game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Nov. 28. The UCLA product scored a career-high 28 points on 11-14 shooting, and dished out five assists. LaVine's  athleticism was on full display against L.A., and he will continue to grow as the season progresses.

K.J. McDaniels (Philadelphia SG)- Had yet another strong week for the 76ers, scoring 15 ppg on 47% shooting from the field. McDaniels posted a double-double against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, Nov. 29. He scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, further solidifying his place in the 76ers' rotation. McDaniel's upside is very high in terms of his defense and athleticism, and should develop nicely into a starter with all-star potential. Look for him to receive many votes for Rookie of the Year later in the season.
