Top Performances

Andre Drummond (Detroit C)- Recorded 26 points and 17 rebounds in a 128-118 win over the Orlando Magic. Drummond was super-effecient Wednesday night, hitting 10 of 14 field goals, and surprisingly, 6 of his 8 foul shots. He also tallied four steals and blocked three shots as the Pistons continue to make a push for the playoffs.

John Wall (Washington PG)- Scored 18 points, 13 assists and six rebounds in a 105-103 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Wall didn't have the greatest shooting night (6-17 FG), but he did nab four steals and record his second consecutive double-double.

Nicolas Batum (Portland SF)- Posted a line of 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 118-113 loss to the Phoenix Suns. It was easily his best game of the season, as Batum hit 9 of his 15 field goal attempts (6-8 3PM). Hopefully, he can continue putting up numbers like this, as the Trail Blazers have lost four of their last five games, and are dealing with an injury to star LaMarcus Aldridge.

Brandon Jennings (Detroit PG)-Tallied 24 points and a season-high 21 assists in a 128-118 win over the Orlando Magic. Jennings was in total distribution mode Wednesday night, finding teammates early and often during the contest. Detroit is now only a game and a half away from the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, and Jennings is a major reason why they have played so well over the last three weeks.

Eric Bledsoe (Phoenix PG/SG)- Finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in Phoenix's win over the Trail Blazers. Bledsoe had a fantastic overall game, shooting 11 of 22 from the field, and recording three steals in the win. He continues to fill the stat sheet every night for the Suns, who have won eight of their last ten games.

Play of the Night

Kevin Durant was at it again, this time posterizing Washington center Marcin Gortat in a 105-103 Thunder win over the Wizards.

Daily Recap- Nov. 29

Who Was Hot

Marcin Gortat (Washington C)- Posted a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds in an 83-80 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Gortat outplayed his counterpart Anthony Davis in most facets of the game, recording two steals and four blocks in the win.

Tyson Chandler (Dallas C)- Tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds in a 110-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Chandler posted his third straight double-double, hitting 7 of 9 shots, and also recorded four steals.

James Harden (Houston SG)- Dominated Saturday night, scoring 34 points on 9 of 14 shooting in a 117-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Harden continues to put up strong performances, and is averaging 25.2 points, 6.8 assists and 6.2 rebounds per game this season.

Kyrie Irving (Cleveland PG)- Put up a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 109-97 win against the Indiana Pacers. Irving was all over the place grabbing rebounds, and also chipped in five assists and three blocks.

Michael Carter-Williams (Philadelphia PG)- Recorded his third career triple-double in the 76ers' loss to the Mavericks on Saturday. MCW scored 18 points, dished out 16 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds, once again showing off his athleticism and versatility.

Who Was Not

Enes Kanter (Utah C)- Tallied just six points and two rebounds in a 112-96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. Kanter has shown flashes of dominance this season, but continues to be very inconsistent for the Jazz.

Al Jefferson (Charlotte C)- Scored only 11 points and grabbed just three rebounds in a 105-75 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The Hornets were down big early and that limited Jefferson's playing time, but he was not very effective during his time on the court, much like the rest of the team.

Play of the Night

Giannis Antetokounmpo threw down a dunk over Bulls' power forward Taj Gibson on Saturday night, showcasing his length and athleticism.

Who Was Hot

John Wall/Marcin Gortat- The point guard/center duo for the Washington Wizards dominated the Orland Magic in a 105-98 win Thursday night. Their pick and roll was run to near perfection, with each finishing with a double-double (Wall-30 pts, 12 ast, Gortat 20pts, 12 reb).

Perry Jones III- Talk about redemption. After a poor first game, Jones rebounded with 32 points and seven rebounds in a 93-90 loss to the Clippers. If his teammate Russell Westbrook

New York Knicks- After getting blown at home against the Bulls to start the season, the Knicks rebounded to play spoiler, defeating the Cavaliers in LeBron James' return by a score of 95-90. New York shot 53.6% from the field, 50% from three point range and 83% from the foul line, while limiting James to 17 points (on 5-15 shooting), and eight turnovers.

Who Was Not

Russell Westbrook/Oklahoma City Thunder- Things went from bad to worse for the Thunder on Thursday, losing 93-90 to the Los Angeles Clippers. To add insult to injury, Westbrook played only nine minutes due to breaking a bone in his right hand. If he is out for an extended period of time, the OKC will have a tough time maintaining a winning record.

J.J. Redick- The shooting guard out of Duke University turned in a poor performance, shooting 1-10 from the field with a minus seven rating in 30 minutes of playing time Thursday.

Dante Exum- The rookie point guard out of Australia struggled in his second career game, scoring only two points and committing two turnovers in 19 minutes of action. Exum is way more talented than he showed on Thursday, but it will take time for him to adjust to the NBA game.

Stat of the Night- John Wall recorded his third career game of 30 or more points and 10 or more assists Thursday. Based on what we've seen so far, Wall should be primed for a career-year with many more games like the one last night.
