Nightly Recap- Jan. 6

Top Performances

Markieff Morris (Phoenix PF/C)- Tallied 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 102-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The other half of the Morris duo was on his game, Tuesday night, hitting 10 of 17 shot attempts in the win. It was the third time in his last four games that Morris has scored over 20 points.

Greg Monroe (Detroit PF)- Recorded 17 points and 11 rebounds in a 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. It was the third straight double-double for Monroe, who has seen more playing time and a rise in production since Josh Smith was traded.

Andre Drummond (Detroit C)- Scored 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in the Pistons' win over the Spurs. Drummond posted his fifth double-double in his last seven games, and is putting up numbers on par to last year.

Brandon Knight (Milwaukee PG)- Dropped 26 points on 10 of 20 shooting from the field in a 102-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns. It was the third time in his last four games that Knight has scored 20 or more points, and he is maintaining his season stat line under head coach Jason Kidd.

Play of the Night

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings banked in a floater with one tenth of a second left to beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-104. It was the Pistons' six win in a row, and Jennings finished the game with 13 points and seven assists.
