Top Performances

Al Horford (Atlanta PF/C)- Recorded the first triple-double of his career, scoring 21 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists in a 105-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Horford was uber-effecient in his 29 minutes of action, hitting 8 of 10 field goal attempts, as well as 5 of 6 free throw attempts. He took initiative with three other starts resting Tuesday night, and played a phenomenal game.

DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento PF/C)- Almost recorded a triple-double, tallying 32 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists in a 108-104 overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The nine turnovers Cousins committed were way too high, but his other numbers (11-21 FG, 10-10 FT) more than made up for it, as he continues to dominate any and all opponents.

Mo Williams (Minnesota PG)- Scored a career-high 52 points in a 110-101 win over the Indiana Pacers. It was also a franchise record for most points scored by a Minnesota player, as Williams seemingly hit any and every shot over the Pacers' defense on Tuesday. He finished the game 19 of 33 from the field, including six made 3-pointers, and also dished out seven assists.

J.R. Smith (Cleveland SG)- Tallied 29 points, while hitting eight 3-pointers in a 107-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Smith clearly benefitted from LeBron James making his return last night, as he saw a lot of open looks from all over the court. He also recorded four steals and did not commit a single turnover in the loss, which is a good sign for the Cavs coaching staff moving forward.

Markieff Morris (Phoenix PF/C)- Recorded a career-high 35 points in a 107-100 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The slightly taller Morris twin had himself a night against Cleveland, hitting 15 of his 21 shot attempts, while grabbing seven rebounds in the win.

Play of the Night

Philadelphia 76ers' shooting guard K.J. McDaniels threw down a double-clutch dunk in the third quarter of a 105-87 loss to the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night. The rookie from Clemson showcased his hops and athleticism once again, and continues to be a bright spot for an otherwise dull season for 76ers' fans.

Top Performances

Markieff Morris (Phoenix PF/C)- Tallied 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 102-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The other half of the Morris duo was on his game, Tuesday night, hitting 10 of 17 shot attempts in the win. It was the third time in his last four games that Morris has scored over 20 points.

Greg Monroe (Detroit PF)- Recorded 17 points and 11 rebounds in a 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. It was the third straight double-double for Monroe, who has seen more playing time and a rise in production since Josh Smith was traded.

Andre Drummond (Detroit C)- Scored 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in the Pistons' win over the Spurs. Drummond posted his fifth double-double in his last seven games, and is putting up numbers on par to last year.

Brandon Knight (Milwaukee PG)- Dropped 26 points on 10 of 20 shooting from the field in a 102-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns. It was the third time in his last four games that Knight has scored 20 or more points, and he is maintaining his season stat line under head coach Jason Kidd.

Play of the Night

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings banked in a floater with one tenth of a second left to beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-104. It was the Pistons' six win in a row, and Jennings finished the game with 13 points and seven assists.

Who Was Hot

Tobias Harris/Nicola Vucevic (Orlando SF/C)- Vucevic scored 25 points and had 14 rebounds, while Harris scored 24 points in a 107-93 win over the Detroit Pistons. Anthony Davis (New Orleans PF/C)- Had a monster game of 31 points and 11 rebounds in a 102-93 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. Davis also recorded three blocks and three assists, showing once again his versatility as he is one of the best players in the game.

Markieff Morris (Phoenix PF/C)- Posted a filled stat line (30 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals) in a 118-114 win over the Boston Celtics. It was Morris' best game of the young season, and a positive sign of things to come for the upstart Phoenix Suns.

Ty Lawson (Denver PG)- Scored 24 points and dished out assists in a 107-96 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Who Was Not

Tony Wroten (Philadelphia PG)- Shot 4-14 from the field, scoring only eight points and committing four turnovers in a 100-75 loss versus the San Antonio Spurs.

Gerald Green (Phoenix SG/SF)- Scored seven points on 3-12 shooting in a 118-114 win over the Phoenix Suns. Green fell back to Earth after scoring 26 points in the Suns' previous contest, but should continue to put up solid performances going forward. 

Al Jefferson (Charlotte C)- Tallied only six points on 3-12 shooting in a 107-80 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. It was a rare off night for the usually-reliable Jefferson, but his consistent play over the years suggests he will bounce back in the Hornets' next contest.

Heat point guard Shabazz Napier had Nets' guard Deron Williams all turned around after some fancy dribbling.
